Ahmad Hajjeyah

Vice President, Administration

Ahmad Hajjeyah is the vice president of administration for MEGlobal International FZE, with overall responsibility for public affairs, human resources and information technology and is located at the MEGlobal headquarters in Dubai. MEGlobal is a 50:50 joint venture between The Dow Chemical Company (Dow) and Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) of Kuwait.

Before joining MEGlobal, Hajjeyah spent 11 years with EQUATE* Petrochemical Company in Kuwait where he served in production leader roles for both the polypropylene and polyethylene plants as well as participating in a number of cross-functional empowered business teams including environmental health and safety, Six Sigma and training.

Prior to joining EQUATE, Hajjeyah spent almost 17 years with Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) in Kuwait.  He joined the company in 1979 as a shift foreman in manufacturing before moving through a variety of manufacturing and engineering roles.  From 1985 – 1988, Hajjeyah was seconded to C.F. Engineering and Construction Company in the United States as a process engineer where he worked on an ammonia plant project in Trinidad and Tobago as well as conducting basic engineering design for an ammonia plant in Iraq.  Hajjeyah also spent six months with Toyo Engineering in Japan as the owner representative during a polypropylene project.

Hajjeyah is a Kuwaiti citizen and holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Glamorgan, Pontypridd in Wales.
