
Bob Brandt
Vice President Manufacturing
Bob Brandt is the vice president of manufacturing for MEGlobal Canada, located at the company’s Prentiss manufacturing facility in Red Deer, Alberta in Canada. MEGlobal is a 50:50 joint venture between The Dow Chemical Company (Dow) and Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) of Kuwait.
Prior to joining MEGlobal, Brandt served as production leader for Dow’s ethylene oxide (EO) plant in Plaquemine, LA.
Brandt joined Union Carbide Corporation (UCC) in 1985 as a production engineer in vinyl resins and continued with manufacturing roles in surfactants, amines and glycol, joining Dow as part of the UCC acquisition in 2000. Since that time, he has held a variety of leadership assignments in EH&S, improvements, and maintenance across a variety of Dow businesses. In addition, Brandt has significant experience as a long-term production leader for ethylene oxide.
Brandt is a US citizen and holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas.
