
Stephane Paquier

On July 6, 2009 Stephane Paquier was named Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions. Paquier joined Dow in 1984 in Geneva, Switzerland in the treasury department with trade financing responsibilities for Middle East/Africa. He subsequently held a number of treasury positions in Frankfurt and Horgen for financial risk management, financial planning, and cash management, before being named Treasurer for Dow Central Europe in Frankfurt in 1993, where his area of responsibilities included France, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, and Hungary.
From 1995 - 2000, he led the financial integration of BSL (the largest privatization of East German assets) in eastern Germany. In 2000, he was named Corporate Finance Director in Midland, Michigan, where he headed up the Global Funding Process for Dow. From 2002 - 2006, Paquier was Corporate Director of Mergers and Acquisitions. 2006 - 2009 Stephane Paquier was Regional Finance Director for Dow India, Middle East and Africa. He was also responsible for Dow's M&A activities throughout the region.
Paquier holds a diploma from the Ecole Superieure de Commerce of Geneva.
