Mr. Abdulrasool Jafar

Prior to his appointment as Aromatics Project Manager in September 2006, Jafar served as Olefins II Project Utilities Manager, responsible for entire Olefins II & Aromatics Complex.

Jafar joined PIC in 1979 as a Process Engineer in the Operational and Projects Department. He was deputed (From 1984 to 1987) to Santa Fe CF Braun, USA (owned by KPC - Kuwait Petroleum Cooperation) as Team Leader in the Process Engineering Department. In 1987 he returned to PIC in the Projects Department and held a variety of roles leading to MDP & PP, Projects Manager in 2001. He is and has been a member of boards (SACF – Sino Arab Chemical Fertilizer Co, an Arab/China Joint Venture), MEGlobal, PIC/DOW, and Equipolymers. Also, he is a member of many executive committees in KPC and other Petroleum Companies.

Jafar Holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wales in U.K.
