Community Advisory Panel (CAPs)
In order to keep community members informed of company operations and to get feedback, MEGlobal participates on CAP jointly with Dow Chemical Canada in Red Deer.
Ellis Bird Farm
MEGlobal is a key sponsor of the Ellis Bird Farm. Located opposite the Prentiss manufacturing site, the Ellis Bird Farm is a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of Mountain Bluebirds, Tree Swallows and other native cavity-nesting birds. Visit the Ellis Bird Farm website.
Employee Involvement Program (EIP)
MEGlobal employees in Red Deer are encouraged to be active members of their communities through volunteerism, and can access funding for their non-profit or charitable groups through the EIP. In addition, MEGlobal operates a community contributions program that demonstrates support for local initiatives that contribute to environmentally, economically and socially sustainable communities.
