Responsible Care® is a voluntary initiative within the global chemical industry that promotes the safe handling of products from development, through manufacture and distribution, to disposal. Originating in Canada in 1987, it has been adopted by more than 40 other countries. On September 1, 2004, MEGlobal signed on to The Canadian Chemical Producers’ Association and committed to meet the ethics, policies and codes of practice of Responsible Care. This commitment to our employees, our neighbors, our customers and the environment require constant focus on safety, health and the environment, and a vision of “Zero”—“Zero Incidents, Zero Injuries and Zero Harm to the Environment.”
