MEGlobal employees complete successful 2023 Fort Saskatchewan United Way campaign

The United Way of the Alberta Capital Region will receive over $60,000 from MEGlobal Canada ULC (MEGlobal) as a result of the 2023 MEGlobal Employee Charities Campaign.
The 2023 campaign generated $29,911 in employee contributions, $25,000 in funds from MEGlobal, and $5,130 in special company campaign events, such as the Leadership Obstacle Course & Relay Lunch.
United Way of the Alberta Capital Region President and CEO Rob Yager was thankful for the support during trying times.
“We are deeply honored and appreciative of the continued support by MEGlobal and its team,” said Yager. “This generous contribution is a testament to the culture of giving that MEGlobal embodies. Together, we are building a thriving and resilient community where no one is left behind. Our heartfelt thanks go to each individual at MEGlobal for their role in creating lasting change.”
MEGlobal’s 2023 campaign coordinator Craig Kunz was proud of what employees were able to achieve during the campaign.
“Thank you to all those who made this campaign such a success. With the incredible generosity of our staff, the amazing prizes donated by our contractors, and a healthy contribution from MEGlobal, the 2023 Fort Saskatchewan United Way Campaign was able to raise $60,041.12! This money will go a long way in helping better our community by providing basic needs and multiple resources to people in need,” said Kunz. “Year after year, this campaign is a fun way to make a positive change in our community, and I’m proud to work alongside so many people who support it!”
He added his appreciation for his colleagues on the campaign committee.
“I would like to give a special thanks to Bryce Kambeitz, Christine Mullen, Nathan Kurasevich, Ray Leckie, and Sahil Singla who were instrumental in making this campaign happen thanks to their tireless work and dedication,” Kunz said.
