MEGlobal employees give generously in annual Prentiss United Way campaign

The United Way of Central Alberta will receive over $161,500 from MEGlobal Canada ULC (MEGlobal) as a result of the MEGlobal 2023 Employee Charities Campaign.
The 2023 campaign generated $68,652 in employee contributions, $68,652 in matching funds from MEGlobal, along with an additional $24, 408 raised in special company campaign events.
United Way of Central Alberta Chief Executive Officer Chelsea O’Donoghue said the support from MEGlobal is outstanding and will help those in the community meet their basic needs.
“Partners like MEGlobal and their employees showcase how coming together in support of United Way changes local lives. Your generosity strengthens our work in creating communities where everyone has access to basic needs, suitable mental health services and a brighter future. Thank you MEGlobal. United we are stronger!”
MEGlobal’s 2023 campaign coordinator Jag Randhawa echoed these sentiments.
“Being part of the 2023 Prentiss United Way campaign was an exhilarating experience,” he said. “Witnessing the incredible unity and support at in-person events was nothing short of inspiring.”
He added that he is deeply touched by the United Way’s impactful work in addressing basic needs, and promoting metal health awareness.
“The generous contributions from MEGlobal employees, along with the company’s matching program, reflect not only financial generosity but also a profound commitment to the betterment of our community. A big thank you to all my colleagues for making a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need,” Randhawa said.
