 REACHing for Chemicals Management in EuropeREACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals regulation) is the new, single regulatory system for chemicals management in the European Union (EU). The regulation came into force June 1, 2007 and the chemical industry ñ from raw materials suppliers to manufacturers, importers and downstream users ñ is now in the process of pre-registration. Deadlines for registration range between November 2010 and May 2018, depending upon substance volume and classification.
