MEGlobal Canada ULC (MEGlobal) is thrilled to announce that employee Andrea Ruyselaar has been awarded the 2024 United Way of Central Alberta Outstanding Employee Campaign Chair Award. This recognition celebrates Andrea’s exemplary dedication and leadership in organizing a highly successful fundraising campaign, which has left a meaningful and lasting impact on the Central Alberta community.
The awards were given out during the United Way of Central Alberta Campaign Celebration event on April 7 at Bo’s Bar and Stage in Red Deer, Alberta.
Through Andrea’s tireless efforts and the generous contributions of MEGlobal and its employees, the company was also recognized as the second highest contributor to the United Way of Central Alberta in 2024, donating an impressive $151,227.45. This collective effort exemplifies MEGlobal’s commitment to supporting the communities where its employees live and work.
“I am incredibly honored to receive the United Way Employee Campaign Chair of the Year Award. This recognition holds great significance because it represents the collective spirit, generosity, and compassion of the team I had the privilege to lead,” said Ruyselaar. “Being part of a campaign that uplifts lives and strengthens our community has been deeply meaningful. This award is a reflection of everyone who gave their time, resources, and heart to the cause. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact in our community.”
MEGlobal Production Director Amanda Vanderburg applauded the effort of Ruyselaar and all MEGlobal Prentiss employees.

The United Way of Central Alberta’s annual campaign focuses on strengthening the community by addressing pressing social issues such as poverty, mental health, and access to education.
